Mastiff Ideal Weight Range
54–100 kg
Mastiffs are predisposed to cystinuria, a hereditary defect in renal tubular transport that causes abnormal amino acid excretion and urinary stone formation. They are also among the giant breeds with the highest predisposition to dilated cardiomyopathy. Both conditions can be influenced by diet composition, and maintaining a healthy body weight reduces the additional metabolic demands placed on already vulnerable organ systems.
Your dog is more than a breed average.
A generic range is just a starting point. FitFido uses your dog's unique breed characteristics, age, body type, and activity level to calculate their target weight and construct a custom plan that adjusts as you progress.
Please note that a dog's ideal weight depends on many individual factors, including height, bone structure, and overall body condition.
