Rottweiler Ideal Weight Range
36–61 kg
Rottweilers are predisposed to both elbow dysplasia and subaortic stenosis, a narrowing of the aortic outflow tract. Excess body weight compounds joint load in a breed already susceptible to elbow disease, and maintaining a lean body condition reduces cardiovascular demand in dogs with even mild cardiac involvement.
Your dog is more than a breed average.
A generic range is just a starting point. FitFido uses your dog's unique breed characteristics, age, body type, and activity level to calculate their target weight and construct a custom plan that adjusts as you progress.
Please note that a dog's ideal weight depends on many individual factors, including height, bone structure, and overall body condition.
