Great Pyrenees Ideal weight range
36–54 kg
Great Pyrenees are predisposed to laryngeal paralysis as part of a progressive nerve condition complex, increasingly limiting exercise tolerance over time. They are also among the giant breeds where osteochondrodysplasia has been reported. Both conditions reduce a dog's ability to stay active, and in a large breed where even modest weight gain adds significant joint load, consistent tracking helps owners respond before condition deteriorates.
Your dog is more than a breed average.
A generic range is just a starting point. FitFido uses your dog's unique breed characteristics, age, body type, and activity level to calculate their target weight and construct a custom plan that adjusts as you progress.
Please note that a dog's ideal weight depends on many individual factors, including height, bone structure, and overall body condition.
