Weimaraner Ideal Weight Range
51–79 lbs
Weimaraners are predisposed to hypertrophic osteodystrophy, a painful developmental bone condition, and inflammatory bowel disease. Both conditions can disrupt normal nutrient absorption and cause weight changes that are easy to miss without a consistent baseline. This breed also has a known immune system defect affecting neutrophil function, which can complicate recovery from illness.
Your dog is more than a breed average.
A generic range is just a starting point. FitFido uses your dog's unique breed characteristics, age, body type, and activity level to calculate their target weight and construct a custom plan that adjusts as you progress.
Please note that a dog's ideal weight depends on many individual factors, including height, bone structure, and overall body condition.
