Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FitFido, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years of age to form a legally binding contract with aethren, inc.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Free Trial: We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. After the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current rate (e.g., monthly or annually) unless canceled via your App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel at any time. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; therefore, all refund requests must be handled through their respective platforms.

3. Veterinary & AI Disclaimer

  • Not Professional Advice: FitFido is an informational tool only. It is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Emergency Use: DO NOT USE FITFIDO FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. If your pet needs urgent care, contact a veterinarian immediately.
  • FitFido AI™ Accuracy: AI-powered food label scanning is provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes. Users are responsible for verifying calorie and nutritional data before making feeding decisions.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the app for illegal purposes, attempt to reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with security features.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks (including FitFido™ and FitFido AI™), and software are the exclusive property of aethren, inc.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aethren, inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including pet health issues) arising from your use of the service.

8. Platform Terms

Your use of the mobile application is also governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and/or the Google Play Terms of Service, depending on your device.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
